That should look great Charlie!

What color is your wrap thread going to be?
If you set the bottom color selector to what you want the wrap thread to be and hit th epaint bucket button it will fill in the background with your chosen wrap color.

See here in the help file (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

How many threads?

Are your going to work from a left list, or from the pattern?
If you're going to work from a left list, then remember that if you want the top of the head to face the tip of the rod then it has to be rotated 90 degrees to the right when you're designing it.

I plan to write some code for rotating finished patterns soon.

cheers,
Owen

Thanks, Owen
the pattern
119 design threads and 221 wrapping threads 4 layer
I work  from pattern ,the wrap thread will be black for now
I may try solid metallic gold, wrap thread will white with white blank
here you go with black wrapping threads.

Everyone would like to try out this pattern  just let me know.

Hey Charlie!
How's this thing going?
By the way, I just noticed a stray grey cell in the upper right corner!

Are you going to the Long Beach show?
We'll be on holidays when that's on, so we might see you there!

cheers and Happy New Year

Scott if you do this weave I would really love to see the finished product.

Also when you get the CD from Doc you will see there are three dragon patterns on there as well. Like Charlie I have a think for dragons, the second one on the CD "Fire Dragon" is what I plan to do on a hasting USA blank I bought gee I think it was 8 months ago now. The colours on the CD have been changed from what I intend to do, but that is the glory of PicToWeave you can change the colors in a flash.

Charlie have you done in more weaves if so would love to see more of your current work.
