That turned out well....I was thinking that in the cp photo, there were some gaps that would show, but it lookss much better with epoxy.
Did you tighten or pack more prior to finish? It looks quite good!

Ken,
I didn't tighten any more, but after each coat of CP it was rolled.
The gaps you see are more a trick of light in the photo.
Sometimes the camera picks up things the eye can't see.
A couple of photos I took of the finished weave show gold spots all over where the gold shines through the black.  You can't see it with the naked eye.  Some shots looked really "stripey" due to camera/lighting angles.
