Thanks to a response on the Guild web site i think i have found the perfect tape for the lay down threads in weaving. Most of you probably know but here it is if you don't

It is 3-m 233+ and it is green in color. It is very expensive, I bought a 1/8th, a 3/4 and a 11/2 inch roll almost $20.00 but so far it is great. Its as good or better than i expected.

Paul thanks for that.  Is the 233+ the brand?
I have been having problems with tape sense we started and the last lot i got was the double sided stuff which I have not been happy at all with the results.  I would love to try this one.

See the thread below this one. Vern warns against using a tape with that same modle number and 3m Mfgr. (Scotch?)

Not all things work the same for everyone as these 2 threads show.
Pix of the product labeling might clear up any confusion here.

Personally, I have found a double-stick carpet tape that works quite well. Brand is "Central Flex" item #95072  2in X 75ft rolls.
