I'm probably missing something simple but, How can I change the size of an existing Pictoweave pattern. I designed a pattern for a small rod and want to enlarge it for a larger diameter rod

Bill,
There is no way to simply "expand" an existing pattern.
It has to be redrawn at the new size.

It helps to think of a weave pattern as being like a computer image.
Each grid cell equates to a pixel in that image.

The bigger the pattern, the more "pixels" it contains and therefore the more detail that can be included.

There is no way for me to know what details would need to be kept as is and which "pixels" I would need to add in if I were to try to enlarge a weave.

You CAN add rows an columns to the ends of an existing pattern if you say wanted to put a name after an existing weave, but that's as far as it goes.

cheers,
Owen

Using larger thread sizes can increase the finished weave size by quite a bit.

P2W will give the approximate finished weave dementions for the different sizes used.
