I am making my own weaving jig and have a question when I go to make the lines for the thread it says 12 marks to an inch,can someone please explain that to me how do you get 12 marks to an inch. Thank You Joe

Joe,
I'm not sure where you are getting those instructions from, but the distance between the threads is not critical.
Just mark them at whatever spacing you want.  12 per inch is going to be difficult to mark with a rule and probably too close together for a V type loom.
I would go for about 1/8 - 1/4 inch apart or 3-6mm
You need to leave room to number them so you don't accidently put threads in the wrong slot.
