Filling and clearing large areas

You may fill a large region by holding down the CTRL key and the left mouse button, then dragging the mouse across the grid to select the bounds of the rectangle you wish to fill.

Then right click on the grid and select "Flood Fill Selected Area"

To clear a large area, hold down the CTRL and the left mouse button, then drag the mouse to select the area.

Then right click on the grid and select "Clear Selected Area"
