·      "Print Logo on Weaves"
Checking this menu item will result in the file named "logo.bmp" being printed in the header of Left Lists & Thread Layout pages.  The file is located in the common application data folder of your computer.  You can view the location by going to HELP > ABOUT on the file menu.

·      "Print designer name on weaves"
Checking this menu item will place the name of the designer in the header of each printed  design page.

·      "Set designer name"
Use this to set the name that will be printed on the Left List etc if required.

·      "Left List Settings"
This menu item contains a sub menu of items that control the format in which the Left List is printed.  You may select a combination of these to gain the format your prefer. See
Left Lists

"Highlight Layer Changes" -  Selecting this option will result in a copyright symbol.  e.g.  ©24 being used any time that a color needs to be changed on a given design thread.

"Highlight Dropped Threads" -  Selecting this option will result in  areas where threads should be removed from the left side being denoted by a Registered Trademark symbol ® and by striking out the text .

"Highlight Added Threads" -  Selecting this option will result in an ampersand symbol.  e.g.  @24 being used any time that a thread needs to be added to the left side.

"
Set consecutive range delimiter"Selecting this option will allow you to change the symbol used to denote a range or array of threads the default is "-".  e.g 1-12 indicates that all threads 1 through 12 inclusive should be moved to the left.
You may prefer an underscore "_" or several periods "..."

"Contrast colors on left list" - Selecting this option will cause the left list to be printed using background colors that ensure that the thread color is not lost on white paper.

"Add Check Sum" - Selecting this option will cause a number to be placed at the end of each line on the left list which denotes the total number of threads that should be located in your left jig during each rotation.

·      "Set Wrap Thread Stretch Factor"
This setting allows you to adjust the ratio that the wrap thread is smaller than a design thread of the same type.  This is required because a design thread is placed on the rod under tension, therefore it stretches and becomes smaller in diameter than a thread of the same type laid on the rod without tension.  This will vary from user to user and depends on thread types and tension.
The default value is 0.8
This size is used to adjust the width to height ratios of the grid in order to maintain perspective when the weave is created.  With the default value there will be  20% less "design threads per inch" than wrap  "threads per inch".

·      "Edit Thread Sizes"
This menu item allows you to edit  the list of available thread sizes and their diameters.
You may also add or delete thread sizes as required.  Sizes must be in millimeters.

·      "Set grid font size"
This menu item allows you to edit  the font size that the numbers on the grid will be displayed at.  If set too high, it will cause truncating of the numbers.

·      "Mark entries that cause layer changes
This menu item allows you to display an check mark in any cells that will cause the weave to require an additional layer.
The calculations are are based on the entire grid. and are done from top to bottom and left to right on the screen.  A new mark will appear at any point where you paint a cell that will require an additional layer.
However the addition of that cell may actually mean that the new layer will commence somewhere else.
It may be periodically necessary to select "Recount thread colors used" from the Tools menu to ensure that the markings are correct for the entire weave.
If any colors are deleted either explicitly, or by painting over all occurrences of that color, the the colors should also be recounted.
Due to the large number of calculations required for this function, some delays in drawing may be encountered.  On large weaves it may be advisable to turn this option off until the weave is completed.
Then it may be used to help revise the weave.
