Previewing the grid

To see what the finished weave will look like, click on the "Print Preview" button.

You will be shown a standard print dialog box where you can select wether you wish the preview to be in either portrait or landscape mode etc.

When you have selected the options you would like click the "OK" button.

You will then be shown a full color preview of what you can expect the finished weave to look like.

At this point you may also print a copy.

This copy will reduce the size of the grid to fit on a single page.

It is usually too small to use for a guide in the weave process as the grid numbers can't be read.

By adjusting the zoom slider, you may zoom in and out on the preview in order to see the whole page.

If you wish to print the pattern at a different scale, you must uncheck the "Fit To Page" check box and adjust the Scale Slider.

It is very beneficial to print the pattern at, or near to the actual finished scale in order to see more clearly how the detail of the pattern is developing.

Due to differences in resolution between different printers and the necessity for mathematical rounding when calculating the sizes, the printed image may not exactly depict the finished weave.
