Saving your project

To save a project, simply go to

File >>>> Save Project, or click on the "Save Project" button. graphic

When prompted enter the filename.
The default file extension is ".WVE"
When a project is saved, two files are created.  The first, the weave file (filename.wve) is a binary file which contains all the grid data.
The second file (filename.wlf) is a "Weave Layout File" which is a text file that holds information relating to the location of the background image used and thread sizes selected.
If any notes have been recorded these will also be saved into a Rich Text File (*.rtf)
The entire project comprises these files plus the background image (if any) and the notes file (if any).  All files should be packaged if distributing any projects to other users.
